thank you for supporting counselors and helping raise funds

Update and recognizing donors thus far…

I wanted to give the readers an update about the scholarship fundraising efforts. The counseling community has responded and have donated to support the effort of sending counselors to one of the best professional growth opportunities each year – the ASCA National Conference. At the time of this writing, we are 95% ($30 short of goal) to the goal of $700.
I propose to raise that goal to $1050 after meeting the original goal – enough to fund at least 3 full scholarships for the member registration cost to ASCA 2014. I am planning on keeping the fundraiser open until January 24th and the scholarship contest will be run for three weeks in the end of January and beginning of February with the announcement of the recipients mid Feb so they can register by the March 1st deadline.
Please consider donating to help the cause. If each reader gave only $5 – we would easily raise over $1000. Please do share this opportunity to give back to your professional community.

Thank you to our supporters thus far!
